For a second year, Massereene Golf Club hosted Antrim Community Choir’s fund-raising concert, Festive Voices, on Friday 19 December, 2014.
An entertaining and fun-filled event, a packed programme featured not only the choir, who rang sleigh bells to jolly up a few of the Christmas songs, but the prestigious group The Henry Girls, who were joined for one special song by our Musical Director Una McCann, accompanying herself on her accordion; The Girls also joined the choir in its last song, The Parting Glass.
Sound and light was once again controlled by our good friend Tom Makem, who we would like to thank, along with the Arts Council Northern Ireland, the Enkalon Foundation, Antrim Borough Council, the Family Caring Centre, Nanabelle’s Vintage Tea Room, Linda O’Kane of Flowers on my Table, Judges Restaurant Antrim, Antrim Foot Care, Mr Bill Seymour for his photographs, and of course Massereene Golf Club.
The choir would also like to thank those who donate in all sorts of ways but wish to remain anonymous, and lastly our fans, who buy tickets and travel from all over the place to hear us sing. Funds raised will make a helpful contribution to our next project – watch this space!
Thanks to Bill Seymour at Massereene for taking photographs.
