We were honoured to be invited to take part in a play, “The Events”, a co-production of Actors Touring Company, London, Brageteatret, Drammen, Schauspielhaus Vienna and the Young Vic Theatre, London, which performed for four nights at the MAC in Belfast in mid-April.
Written by the Scottish playwright, David Greig, it was inspired by the tragic Norwegian massacre on Utoya island and focuses on the experiences and subsequent emotional journeys of survivors of such events. A unique feature of the play is that in each city a different local community choir per night provides the soundtrack to the protagonist’s inner search.
