The choir was invited by the Ministry of Government at Stormont Castle to sing on their open day, Sunday 15 September, as part of the European Heritage Week celebrations.
A cold blustery wind did not put us off and our performance enthralled our audience, who stopped to listen while wandering past admiring the castle. We sang at two locations – next to the main entrance and in front of the Glasshouse.
The 38 members who participated thoroughly enjoyed the experience, which also served as a prelude to Antrim Community Choir’s Delusions of Grandeur Tour, which starts on Sunday 27 October 2013, next to the old ruins of Antrim Castle, close to the motte.
As a little taster, we proudly present our Delusions of Grandeur introductory video.
